She is now at peace.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jan. Loving mother of Ted (Heather), Sofie (Rick), Gene (Susan) and Emilia (Jack). Cherished Babcia of Christopher (Teresa), Leah (Ryan), Alicia (Martin), Michael (Hannah), Monika (Mark), Brandon (Samantha), Drew, Katherine, Miranda, Shannon and Justin. Loving great-grandmother of Parker, Grayson, Owen, Carson, Mia and Warren. Survived by her brother Henry of Poland. Predeceased by her brother Tadeusz of Poland and her sister Wanda of Hamilton. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and family in Canada, Poland and U.S.A. Kazia was an active member of St. Stanislaus Polish Roman Catholic Church, Women's Rosary Society, Polish Alliance Ladies Circle and the Polish Alliance Group #2. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke for the care and kindness shown to Kazia and her family.
Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Polish Roman Catholic Church, 8 Saint Ann Street, Hamilton on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery (Hwy #8, Stoney Creek). In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Stanislaus Church Elevator Fund would be appreciated. Kazia's inner strength, faith, courage and determination will always be remembered by her family and friends. Kazia's wish for everyone is to "BE HAPPY."
