After a long and happy life, Kathleen Carolyn Fickley died on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in her 96th year.
She was the beloved wife of Ted (2020) and the devoted mother of Gordon Fickley, Peggy Sumner (Kevin) and Jane Groleau (Joe). She was the proud grandmother and great-grandmother of Joe and Kristina and their children: Abrielle, Kyran, Maizen, Griffin and Tristan; Jeff and Nicole and their son Hunter; and Jill and Brad and their sons Bennett and Cameron; and of Tyson and Carissa. Mom is survived by her dear sister Eleanor Peart and by three nieces and two nephews who were so fond of Aunt Kay. Throughout her life, mom was an intelligent, cheerful, practical woman. We are all so grateful to her for the example she set and for the influence she had on our lives.
