June Beattie Browne

Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph's Healthcare on Friday, February 4, 2011, at the age of 85. Predeceased by her loving husband James Victor (Jim) Browne (2008). Generous and loving Mom of James Jr. and Tanya, Donna and Robert St. Clair, Alan and Sonia Browne. Proud grandma of Kevin, Nicole and Shaun Brunner, and Michelle. Dear sister of Bob and Jeannine Beattie, also sister-in-law of Margaret Browne. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Hamilton and Ottawa. June was a dedicated volunteer with St. Peter's at Chedoke Long Term Care for many years and will live forever in the hearts of her many friends. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph's for their compassionate care. Visiting will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. At a later date, a private family inurnment will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
