It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Joyce at St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday, September 27, 2013. Beloved wife of George and sister of Norma. Proud mother of Greg (Teresa), Randy, Dan, Ken, Patty (Wil), and Brian (Shelley). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ryan (Beth), Jennifer, Lauren, Rachel, Amanda, Brittany, Tyler, Katy, and Scarlett; great-granddaughter Payton and life-long friends Gail, Pat, Anne, and Laurie. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Laurie and sister-in-law Liz. Special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Nephrology Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton (at Kenilworth) on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.
