With family by her side, Josette passed away peacefully in her home on September 25th 2021 at 73 years young.
Beloved wife of Glen Watts. Much loved mother of Natalie (Anthony) and the late Joseph. Inspirational step mom of Caroline (Mike), Sean (Robyn), Ashley (Shaun) and Mark (Rachel). Adored Meme of Alyssa, Daniela, Nicolo, Monte, Christian, Ian, Quinlan, Ashton, Chase, Addison and Aubrie. Dear sister of Gerry (Pauline), Paul (Joanne) and Gisele (Garth). Cherished aunt by many nieces and nephews.
Josette, a devoted French teacher of over 30 years loved her work. Despite her diagnosis of cancer in 2020, in true Josette style she chose to live the life she loved so much in spite of her diagnosis and treatment. Josette will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
Special thank to VON and the PSW team, especially Victor and Veronica for making the final days peaceful.
Her family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Due to current gathering restrictions, a private funeral to celebrate her life will be held on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Neighbour to Neighbour or to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by her family.
