After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer on April 30, 2015 in his 58th year. Loving father to Kevin (Mallory) and Patrick and grandfather to Kevin Jr. and Emmalee. Beloved son of the late Agnes and to John (Beatrice). Dear brother to Eileen (Roger), Katharine and Donald. Jake will be dearly missed by his Chedoke Golf Club friends who were like a second family and where he was president of the Men's Golf League for many years. He started his career as a Tradesman with Stelco with 30 years of service finishing his career with the City of Hamilton. A special thank you to Dr. Benger and the wonderful staff at the Juravinski Cancer Center for their care and support.
A celebration of his life will take place at the Chedoke Golf Club, 563 Aberdeen Ave. on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.
