Jerome Joseph Arsenault

ARSENAULT, Jerome “Jerry” Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 two days short of his 86th birthday. Predeceased by his wife Jeanne in 1989. Loving father of Denis (Rita), Rick (Julie), and Lisa Wilson. Proud Grandfather “Pip” of Amanda Lloyd (Dan), Ryan Arsenault (Claire), Michael Arsenault (April), Jennifer Findlater (Scott), Stephanie Arsenault (Alistar), and Robert Wilson (Megan). Jerome took great delight in his great-grandchildren: Jackson, Nathan, Brandon, Adam and Cash. He is survived by siblings Theresa Goguen and André Arsenault; predeceased by Rita Poirer, Mary LeBlanc, Alcide Arsenault, Leo Arsenault, and Sr. Alice Arsenault. Before his retirement, Jerome had been a faithful employee of the Firestone Tire Plant. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, the Sherwood Bowling League, and the Sackville Seniors Centre. He will be especially missed by Roberta Rayburn who cared for him like a daughter. Friends and family may call at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME – FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 3:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 305 East 37th Street, Hamilton at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016.
