Jean E. Joudrie

Passed away peacefully in her 92nd year on Sunday, February 13th, 2022 while surrounded by her beloved family. Loving wife of Bruce for 44 years. Treasured by her loving children: Wayne (Nancy) Joudrie, Len (Carolyn) Joudrie, Cora (Gerry) Barrett, Dave (Jane) Joudrie, Dan (Sue) Joudrie, Patricia (Ed) Merta and Darlene (Kevin) Joudrie. Loving Grandma Joudrie to: Brad, Laura, Brian, Jessica, Dan, Corry, Amanda, Roger, Ashley, Jesse, Devan, Rob, Katie, Jamie, Samantha, Amber, Bruce, Rebecca, Jessica and Andrew. Proud Great Grandma to: Felix, Rocky, Austin, Parker, Nolan, Keira, Jazmyn, Aubree, Shane, Noah, Jaxon, Kerrington, Haden, Jacob, Jaden, Michael, Gabrielle, Ray and Dontay. Jean was predeceased by her parents (Robert and Elizabeth Edwards) and sisters- Mary, Jackie and Margaret. Her sister, Elizabeth currently resides in British Columbia. Jean was born in Hamilton where she met the one love of her life, Bruce. Their life’s adventure started in Hamilton but had chapters in Port Melon B.C. followed by Truro N.S. (and ended up) back to Hamilton to complete the cross-country circuit. Due to COVID, a private family service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Truscott, Brown and Dwyer Funeral Chapel, King St. E. Hamilton, Ontario. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton/Halton would be appreciated by the family.
