Jacqueline Anne Mahoney

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqui on December 29, 2017 after a tough but valiant battle with cancer. Jacqui leaves behind her wonderful children Michaele, Jake and Samantha (Sam) who were there for her through every step of her battle. She was an amazing mother and she raised them to be the strong, independent and confident young adults that they are today. Jacqui was predeceased by her Mom (Noreen), Dad (Jerry) and will be sorely missed but never forgotten by her siblings Mike (Andrea), Pat (Tom), Tim (Jan) and Caron (Gary). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved and always supported. Jacqui developed many close, lasting friendships from her early childhood, high school and as a hard-working member of the Costco team. Her family would like to thank all of those that showed incredible support to her throughout her illness. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic and to Sandy and her other nurses from CCAC for their support during home visits. Jacqui will always be remembered for her undying love of her children, her biting, sarcastic sense of humour, and the ability to laugh through anything that life threw her way. Every person that crossed paths with Jacqui will surely remember her as a caring, giving and loving individual. A visitation will be held at the Cresmount Funeral Home, located at 322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton on Friday January 5, 2016 from 12 to 1 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 1p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bayshore Foundation or the Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated
