(nee Wazny) - With saddened hearts our family announce Irene's sudden passing on August 26, 2015. Loving and cherished wife of Myles for 40 years. Devoted mother of Shane (Shannon), Ryan and Trevor. Grandma to Alyssa and Jaxson. Dear daughter of Walter (predeceased) & Mary. Sister of Jean, Chester, Helen, Zygmund and Joseph. Dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Irene was the founder of the support groups in Hamilton for the Scleroderma Society of Ontario. Some of Irene's favorite times were that spent with family at the cottage and at the beach. She will be missed deeply. A Celebration of Irene's Life will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 beginning with visitation at 10 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11 a.m. For those who wish, in memory of Irene, donations to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario would be appreciated.
