Hazel Alberta Sykes

Passed away peacefully in her sleep in her 93rd year on March 12, 2011. Predeceased by her husband, Frederick, and her daughters, Mildred Prosser (Roy) and Lorraine Botting (Allan). She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren: Valerie, Stephen (Cathleen), Christopher (Sheri), Jonathan (Karin), Matthew (Michelle), Nathan (Ginny), Tamara, Timothy and her many great grandchildren. She will be missed by her church families at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, where she served for many years, and Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle. Thank you to the staff at Regina Gardens for their years of loving care. Hazel served a variety of organizations including Braeside Pentecostal Camp and St. John’s Ambulance. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton) on Monday, March 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle (1355 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton) on Tuesday, March 15th from 12-1p.m. with a service to follow.
