It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hamish McKay on December 6, 2023 at the age of 87.
Loving husband of Ann McKay. Adored father to Donald (Cheryl), Donna (Don), Gordon (Sharon), Patricia, Stuart and Delia. Predeceased by his first wife Martha "Bunty". Cherished grandfather to Sean, Mhairi and Declan. He will be deeply missed by his brother Malcolm (Sandra), sister-in-law Mary Thomson, niece and nephews Marie, Billy and Joe as well as many extended family and friends in Canada, Scotland and Greece. Keeping with Hamish's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 11am-1pm with a Celebration of Life to follow in the chapel at 1pm. Special thanks to the caring staff at Regina Gardens for all their loving care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
