Centre on August 30, 2011 at the age of 59. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, Jules. Sadly missed by her beautiful daughters, Gillian (Olivier) and Brigitte (Derek). Grand-maman Gi sera manquée par ses trois petits enfants, Damien, Coralie & Luc. Will be missed by her siblings, Théodore, France (Rémi), Marcel (Joan) & Christine (Tim). Survived by her thoughtful mother, Françoise. Predeceased by her father, Gérard. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends & co-workers in Ontario, Québec & in the US. Ginette was a dedicated & respected long time employee of John Deere in Grimsby, where she had been recently appointed to the position of “Manager of Wholesale Credit & Operation”. Ginette était également une catholique pratiquante à la paroisse Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours à Hamilton, où elle s’est mariée 37 ans passé. Ginette had many long term friends, enjoyed planning elaborate dinner parties, always looked forward to her US shopping trip in November and the yearly R&R Golf Invitational. Centre for their compassionate care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday Sept 1 from 6-9pm and Friday Sept 2 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours, 132 Blake St., on Saturday September 3, 2011 at 10am. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Team One day at a time for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, in which the family will be participating or to the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
