Dragica Sajatovic

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Dragica at St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late Ted Sajatovic. Dragica immigrated from Croatia to Canada (Alberta). She made her way up to Kirkland Lake and lived there for a few years, then settled in Hamilton for the rest of her life. Loving mother of Wally (Maggie), John, Jim, and Kelly Bragues (Jorge). She was the proud grandmother to Samantha, Titus, Kylie, and Steven. Dear sister-in-law of Danica, Maria, Dragica, and Tonika (of Germany) and Jovo and their families. Also grieved by her extended family on both sides, she has brothers and sisters residing in Belgium, Germany and Croatia. She has taken leave of her precious, loving family that she adored and cared for so well to go with her Heavenly Father. She spent the last few years of her life at a retirement home where she received love, support and care. Visiting will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer service Monday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Holy Cross Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In Dragica's memory, donations to Holy Cross Church or Charity of Karitas (Croatia) would be appreciated.
