Doris Marion Hurst

Born October 8, 1917 and passed August 15, 2018, almost made it to 101. Way to go Mom! Amazing for a type 1 diabetic. The beloved Mother of Ron (Valerie Reverbel), Bob (Susan Ashby), Richard (Aline Racine), and Marion Silver was a creative dynamo: making art, writing poems, plays and stories. Family, friends, her faith, her painting buddies, her niece Margaret (Richard Geer), and her fellow scrabble players were very important to her. She was predeceased by a loving husband, Ralph Warren, her brother Albert, and 2 Granddaughters, Brenda and Joanne. Her sense of humour, discipline, honor, tact, class, calm wisdom and insightful comments were valued to many. She loved being a Docent at Hamilton Place Art Gallery. She felt blessed with her 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. She will be missed. To view more, go to www.cresmountfennellchapel.com.
