Donna May Morton

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donna Morton on Saturday, January 14, 2023 in her 83rd year.

Beloved wife of the late Everett (1985). Loving mother to Glenn McLean, Rick McLean, Shari Perley (predeceased 2013), David McLean, and Patricia Lanigan (Rick). Nan to 7 grandchildren, and great-grandma to 8. Survived by her sisters Debbie Macpherson and Darlene Oldfield (Jim), and sister-in-law Marion Snyder. Predeceased by her parents Wilson and Leona Snyder, brothers Richard “Dick” and Doug. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. A loving and special bond was cherished by Kyle (Teo), Taylor, Carter, Cameron and Brooke.

Donna will be remembered by her dear friends in Mitchell, at McCarthy Place Retirement Home in Stratford, and St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Stratford. Heartfelt thanks to Janet Maes for her friendship and compassion over the years.

Visitation will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton, on Thursday, January 19th from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 20th, 2023 at 12pm. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton.
