Domenico D'Ostilio

Cherished father of Rudy (Shirley), Lina, Nick (Lorraine), and Gina (Gary). Proud Papa of Matthew, Ryan, Dean (Jessica), Adrienne, Rebecca (Jeff), Megan (Malcolm), Schultz, and Pudge. Domenico will always be lovingly remembered by his great-grandchildren Aubrey, Cameron, Eloise, and Theodore. Dear brother-in-law of Elena, Giuseppina and Kenneth (Lynn). Predeceased by his parents Nicola and Angelina and his brothers Luigi and Pietro. Domenico will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends at Villa Italia. He was a loving father and Papa who was proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dad was tough but that didn’t change his love for us, he will be greatly missed. Domenico was a retired employee of Stelco after many years of dedicated service. A special thank you to every doctor and nurse who took care of our dad from the Emergency Department at the Juravinski Hospital to his final days in the Cancer Unit, your efforts are much appreciated.

Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 9 am until the time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 12 noon. Entombment to follow at Bayview Cemetery. Donations in Domenico’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Juravinski Cancer Centre. A special thank you to Gary for always being there for Poppi, you were a great friend, son-in-law and as Gary put it, your chauffeur and bodyguard, signing off……..
