Diane Louise West (nee Raycroft) passed away in her 75th year surrounded by loved ones and her devoted daughter Alison Morgan (Don) and her devoted son Jamie (Danielle). Diane is survived by her grandchildren Christopher, Avery and Danica of whom she was so proud and by her step-grandchildren, Evan, Mikaela and Noah Fraser who arrived later in her life and helped bring joy.
Diane retired from an outstanding career as a critical care nurse in Hamilton. She was a Hamilton Civic Hospitals nursing school graduate and served her patients at The Henderson (Juravinski) Hospital in the coronary care unit for most of her career as a registered nurse.
She will be remembered by her many friends and her family for her graciousness as a host and her desire and ability to bring us all together to share simple good times. She was an excellent mother, nurse and friend.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
