It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol in her 75th year, on Friday March 11, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Carol is predeceased by her parents Jack and Grace Leatherdale, her loving husband Al and her sister Pat Merritt. Loving mother to Leigh Eagle and step mom to Ed (Carole), Kim Memmolo (Tony) and Debbie Cryer (Anthony). Very proud grandmother to Kevin (Holly), Breanne, Jordon, Angus, Zachary, Taylor, Madison, Max, Amy and great grandmother to Logan. Carol was also a loving aunt to Steve Merritt (Maureen).
Carol had such a loving and giving soul and her whole life was her husband and her family. She loved spending time in Myrtle Beach with many special friends including Ed and Sandy. Carol will be truly missed by her cat Boots, she will alway be in our hearts and memories. Special thanks to all the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital for making Carol feel so welcomed and comfortable.
There will be a private family service and a celebration of life at a later date.
