Brian John (Jack) Carter

Pre-deceased by his parents, Wally and Helen Carter, his son Jason Carter, his brothers Wallace and Joey Carter, and his sister Cecilia Cloutier. Survived by his loving wife Glenda (nee Curtis), after more than 50 years together, his children Sean Carter (Michelle), and Kimberly Borsc (Brian), his brothers Stanley (Rose, deceased), Ronnie (Vicky), Billy (Sharon), and his sisters Helen (Jim, deceased), Amy (Bob), and Kathy. He is also survived by his granddaughters Shandra (Zach), Kristen and Sumar and his grandsons Payne (Cassandra), Jeremy and Christopher. Survived by his great-granddaughter Sawyer and great-grandson Jo Jo. He is survived by his sister-in-law Cynthia Roberts of St. John’s, Newfoundland (Don, deceased), and nephews Don (Anne-Marie) and Ken (Debbie). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Jack was a part of the local (and beyond) music scene in Hamilton since he was 16 years old, acting as drummer and lead singer in several bands throughout the 1960s until the 1990s. He was a member of the Hamilton Musicians Guild for many years. He was always called, “The Little Guy with the big voice.” Tom Jones sounded just like Jack. He was also a top award-winning salesman for many years in the car paint industry. He was and will always be dynamic to us, his family. Rest in peace our sweet Jackie. You will be with us forever. We will always love you and keep you in our hearts. Rest in peace our Beloved. We will love you forever, you will be with us always. Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, on Tuesday, July 2 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 1:30 pm in the funeral home chapel.
