Predeceased by Rosa, his loving wife of 63 years with whom he is now reunited. Dad will forever be in the hearts of his children George (Liza), Millie (Ed) and Barbara (Tim). There will forever be a sad emptiness in the hearts of his adored grandchildren of whom he was extremely proud. His greatest joys and the moments he cherished most were the times he spent with his grandchildren, Katrina, Victoria (Kendall), Anthony, and Edwin, enjoying glasses of his homemade wine over lively conversations. Dad will be sadly missed by his brothers Filip (Joyce), John (Ljubica) and his sister Victoria. Although a very loyal and thankful Canadian who never forgot what this country afforded him and his family, he continued to celebrate his proud Croatian heritage. Dad was a devout Catholic and a 60 year parishioner of Holy Cross RC Croatian Church. He was also a proud member (4th degree) and a strong supporter of the Knights of Columbus.

Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Vigil Prayers at 3:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, donations to Holy Cross Church would be sincerely appreciated.
