Bill was the beloved husband of Barbara and cherished father and stepfather of Tracy, Chris, Mark (Tammy) Ansley, Brandon Sharp(Stephanie) and Zachary Sharp (Brooke). Bill loved and will be missed by his grandchildren Kyra, Alex, Keegan, Kailyn, Devyn, Owen, Abigeal and Chloe. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Wendy Cousins (Joe) and brother Bob Ansley (Marilyn) as well as by his Mother in law Gladys McCullum, brothers and sisters in law: Mary Baldasaro (Barry), Elizabeth Critchley (Jim), Daniel McCullum (Victoria), David McCullum (Arthur),Margaret McCullum, Shelley MacQueen (Blair), Matthew McCullum (Jackie) and Heather McMurtry. He will also be missed by his faithful friend Ozzy. Bill was predeceased by his parents Norman and Florence Ansley.
Bill was a machinist and spent most of his career in Research and Development at Stelco.
Bill simply loved life. He was a happy, fun loving and gentle man who treasured family above all else.
He enjoyed travelling and summers spent boating, swimming, fishing, barbequing and having campfires at Georgian Bay. Bill had some memorable canoe trips with his sons in Algonquin.
In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family Celebration of Life is planned.
