Barb Wadden (nee Brunskill)

Barb was born in Hamilton in 1955, raised by her mother, Elizabeth, and her two sisters, Joanne and Jane. She grew up in Westdale, where she met most of her best friends along with the love of her life, Brian. The two of them married in 1984, and she gave birth to their only child, Alan, 3 years later.

Barb worked most of her adult life as a personal banker, helping countless people achieve their financial goals by going the extra mile to provide the best service imaginable.

Barb enjoyed playing softball every summer and attending Tiger Cat games in the fall. She was always busy with her close friends and loved her yearly girls' trip to Fern Resort. Her time at home was spent caring for her cats and babysitting her furbabies Sig and Colt. Christmas was her favourite time of year. She loved to decorate the house top to bottom and had a pair of earrings for every day of the month. She loved to give and always found happiness from making someone elses wishes come true.

She is suvived by her loving husband Brian of 39 years. Cherished mother of Alan (Danielle) as well as her sister Jane. Predeceased by her mother Elizabeth and sister Joanne (Bob). She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton on Friday, December 22, from 2-4pm 6-8pm and Saturday December 23 from 11am-3pm. Barb was a person who would do anything for anyone. She was the perfect wife, mother, and friend.
