It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anna, surrounded by her family, on March 3, 2018 in her 91st year. Beloved mother of Irene Paron (Don Carter), Annie Chivers, Mary Smith (John), Bill Soroka (Nancy) and Walter Soroka. Cherished Baba of Marissa, Eric, Ashley, Dan, Sarah, Steven, Kelly and 8 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at The Rosslyn Retirement Home and Hamilton General Hospital for their care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in Anna’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
