Ann Teresa Jamieson

Jamieson, Ann T. (Sysel) Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton on Monday, March 17, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Warren Jamieson. Proud and loving mother of Janet (Alan) of Hamilton and Chris (Harriet) of Toronto. Cherished nana of Jamie Williams, Steven (Julie) Swaisland and Tracy (Mike) Kroening, and John and Robert Jamieson, and “Nana Pink” to Brooke, Madison and Sydney. Dear aunt of Fran (Bob) Lachine and Frank (Helen) Sysel. Ann was an accomplished bridge and ukulele player who will be missed by her many friends at the Sackville Hill Senior Centre. She was a lover of nature and animals, particularly her grand dog Timmy, skilled crafter, avid gardener, and dedicated volunteer especially proud of her 1900 hours of knitting baby bonnets for St. Joseph’s nursery. We are thankful for the circle of care that she has received over the years from family doctor Morry Black, staff from the Juravinski and St. Joseph’s Hospitals, CCAC and its affiliates who all helped mom maintain her health and independence until her admission to St. Peter’s in February. Special thanks to the caring staff of 3 West and to Dr. Bev Hattersley. Following mom’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to CAP (Cancer Assistance Program) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
