It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adam on October 23, 2021 at the age of 39. Beloved common-law spouse of Kayte Hachey. Cherished son of Jessie Wood and the late Donald Wood. Brother to Coralee Engleby, Robin Tonelli, William Wood and Amanda King.
Adam was an honest, supportive and loving person with a massive passion for music. He loved to compose it, play it, and collect it on records. Always sharing the vast knowledge he had about it—especially punk— and always wanting to learn more. Adam played guitar, bass, drums, and was a powerful vocalist. He was in punk bands most of his life and remains an important and impactful person to many, particularly in our local punk community. He brought levity and humour with him everywhere he went, and was an amazing partner and pug-dad. He is so loved and so sorely missed.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Gathering at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 3-5 pm and 7-9pm.
