Thelma Hampton Woodall, age 80, went to God early Sunday morning, December 30, 2012, at Westover Nursing Home with family by her side. Born September 11, 1932 in Combs, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mornen (Baker) Hampton. Thelma worked for Chemicals Incorporated as an Executive Secretary for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1989. She was an artist who received several awards for her paintings. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and traveling. Her greatest love was spending time with her family. Thelma is survived by her husband, Donald E. Woodall; daughter Melody (Roger) Kleintank, sons, Gregory (Sherri) Woodall, Clint (Robin) Woodall, and Bradford (Beth) Woodall; 15 Grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchild, and 3 great grandchildren on the way. Siblings, Dotha Friend, Opal Stewart, and Andrew Hampton, Jr. She is preceded in death by siblings Marshal, Ella, Cecil, Hazel, Clyde and Edith.
Calling hours will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Webb-Noonan-Kidd, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013. Funeral will be at 2:00pm with Rev. Dr. William F. Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Colonial Foundation.
