Sylvia Jean Rogers

Sylvia Jean Rogers, 80 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at the Butler County Care Facility. She was born on September 23, 1939 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Charles Leonard and Hazel Naomi (Mancer) Smith. Sylvia was a retired sales associate from Value City and former manager at UDF. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ, Eagles 3986 and Past President of the Women’s Auxiliary. Sylvia is survived by her four children, Mike Owens, Jo Ann Owens, Jim (Jessica) Owens and Valerie (Michael) Bond; two step-children, Susan (Leonard) Schroeder and Amy (Mark) Lancaster; six grandchildren, Lisa, Brian, Jonathan, Tiffany, Haylie and Jimmy, numerous other step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Vivian Cobb, Barbara (Don) Reynolds, Harvey Smith and David (Janet) Smith; and special friends Benny and Sue Cook. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Stan Rogers and James Owens. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12pm on Monday December 23, 2019 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home.
