Stella Faye Andrews, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born on July 20, 1936 in Corbin, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Edgar and Martha Mae (Oliver) Felts. Faye was beloved by family and friends, and she certainly had plenty of both. She staunchly preferred her middle name, Faye, over her given name, Stella, which means ‘star.’ And true to that meaning, her lovely smile and contagious laugh magically lit up the room. By nature a people person, she could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and she had a gift for making people feel welcome. These traits allowed her to be extremely successful in both the Greeters and Connections ministries, serving faithfully at Princeton Pike Church of God for many years. Faye was beautiful herself, and she had a special ability to tastefully bring beauty to her surroundings. Always immaculately groomed and impeccably dressed, she enjoyed decorating her home, working in her landscaping, and preparing a savory meal. Faye was devoted to her family, and she took particular delight in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, proudly displaying their dozens of photos throughout her home. Her children fondly recall her faithfulness to God’s house and honor her for modeling the priority of establishing the Lord as life’s firm foundation. She is survived by her children, Jeff (Jennifer) Andrews, Jill Bailey, Joy Rue and Julie (Herbert) Robertson; grandchildren, Mandy (Jim) Sawyer, Scott (Laura) Andrews, Josh (Ashley) Andrews, Tiffany (Rick) Baker, Kristen (CD) Davidsmeyer, Kendra (Zach) Barnes, Nick (Amanda) Bailey, Justin (Missy) Rue, Michael Rue, Jessie (Nicole) Robertson, Tammy (Dave Wehrling) Robertson, Jeremiah (Lyndsey) Robertson and Jacob (Ashley) Robertson; great-grandchildren, Jagger, Jamin, Lexi, Ava, Josiah, Parker, Coen, Jackson, Preston, Hannah, Emma, Will, Lennox, Pax, Axel, Jett, Liam, Ryan, Jade, Savannah, Jewl, Landon, Jocelyn, Luke, Charlotte, Sydney, Gabriella, Jacoby, Emmaline and Hailey Faye; siblings, Marjorie Flint and Jerry Felts; son-in-law, Kenny Lakes. Faye was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe “Bob” Andrews; daughter, Jennifer M. Lakes; 12 siblings; and son-in-law, Duney Bailey. Visitation will be held from 11am – 1pm on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton-Glendale Road, Hamilton, OH 45011. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1pm on Monday at the church with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating. Interment will be held at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
