Robert John Vanselow Jr.

John was born in Cincinnati, OH on January 7th, 1955. He graduated from State of Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education and continued on to receive an Associate’s Degree from The Community College of the Air Force.

John served his country as a MSgt in the United States Air Force. Retiring from the military on 31 May 1992. He continued to serve his country by working with fellow service members and civilians within the Department of Defense where he retired on 30 Jan 2017. He had an extreme love for his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. John enjoyed playing golf and dancing for his wife.

John is survived by his mother, Betty Vanselow, his wife, Janet Vanselow, of 36 years, his 3 daughters, Jennifer Rowland, Jessica Brown and Rebecca Bailey and his grand-children, Courtney Piatt, Dylan Randich, Isis Tappendorf, Elanna Vanselow, Ileaha Hughes, Noah Bailey, Kenneth Brown III, Gabriel Rowland and Isabella Vanselow and numerous brothers and sisters.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert John Vanselow Sr and brother, Phillip Vanselow and sister, Linda Vanselow.

Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 from 1PM to 5PM on Sunday November 18, 2018. The funeral service will be held at 5PM.
