Richard C. Henry

Richard C. Henry, age 82, of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Berkeley Square. He was born on October 18, 1929 in Cincinnati, the son of the late George D. and Emma E. (Pomeroy) Henry. Richard graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s in business administration in 1953. On November 16, 1955, in Liberty, IN, he married his wife of over 37 years, Elizabeth, and she preceded him in death on July 1, 1993. Richard worked at Mosler Safe for over 30 years, retiring in 1991 as a Systems Director. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and an avid golfer. Richard is survived by his children, Donna Henry of Ft. Mitchell, KY, George (Donna) Henry of Ft. Thomas, KY and William (Kathleen) Henry of Hamilton; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Donald P. Henry of Little Rock, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and step-sons, John and George Ball. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 11am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12noon at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 163549, Columbus, OH 43216.
