Omia Lee Hickman, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Westover Retirement Community. She was born on July 19, 1936, in Laurel County Kentucky, the daughter of the late Willie and Sallie (Gregory) Cheek. On July 19, 1957, she married Lewis Everett Hickman and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2004. Omia is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Roger) Carrier, granddaughter Courtney Elizabeth Carrier; siblings, Delford Cheek, Denver Cheek and Patricia Lawson. Omia was also preceded in death by her siblings, Naomi Viars, Don Cheek, Albert Cheek, Wanda Hunt and Paul Cheek. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home.
