Maxine Nora Sandlin, age 95, of Hamilton, Ohio, went home to be with The Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 4, 1927, to the union of Delmar Strong and Mae Jackson. She was employed as a beautician manager and was often responsible for traveling and establishing new salons for Regis. Maxine had a strong religious faith, enjoyed quilting, and was well loved and respected by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tilford Sandlin; sisters, Captolia Johnson, and Alma Croucher; brother, Johnny Jackson.
Maxine leaves to cherish her memory, son, Terry Allan Sandlin; grand-daughter, Christy Sandlin-Hays (Paul); grandson, Michael Sandlin; great-grandchildren, Jacob, P.J., and Carlee; great-great grandchildren, Braxton and Baylor; a host of other family and friends who will truly miss her.
The interment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10:00am.
