Lorene Moore

Lorene Moore, age 75 of Hamilton, passed away at Kettering Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. She was born on June 5, 1949 in Pineville, KY, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Virginia (Smith) Hensley. On November 25, 1967 in New Miami, Lorene married her husband of over 40 years, Keith Marvin Moore Sr., who preceded her in death on March 30, 2009. She retired from Miami University as a Program Associate after working there for over 20 years, and she was a longtime member of Timberhill Baptist Church. Lorene spent her life taking care of her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to their school and sporting events whenever she could. She loved the beach - going to Gulf Shores, AL with her family was one of her favorite vacations she would take with them. Lorene is survived by her children, Jennifer (Jon) Brandenburg and Keith (Bobbie) Moore Jr.; grandchildren, Justin (Kaitlyn) Moore, Joseph Moore, Ryan Moore, Jon Brandenburg, Shaun (Carleigh) Brandenburg, and Nathan Brandenburg; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Adaline, Beckham, Rylee, Alaina, Abigail; siblings, Ruth (Johnny) Kidd, Dora Lee Whicker, Nevada (Shady) Lovins, Woody (Duanna) Hensley, and Renee Huffman; sisters-in-law, Karen Moore and Patty Moore; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Montana Hensley and Corrine (Mike) Osterberger; brothers-in-law, Rocky Whicker, Joseph (Ruth) Moore, Darrel Moore, Mark Moore, and Clark (Connie) Moore; and sister-in-law, Gail Moore. A Visitation will be held from 10am until 12pm on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Timberhill Baptist Church, 144 Timber Hill Drive, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. A Funeral Service will begin at 12pm on Monday at the church with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
