Gordon Lee Ballinger, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Bethesda North Hospital. He was born in Maud, Ohio on August 2, 1941, the son of the late Robert Lee and Anna (Needham) Ballinger. Gordon had retired from Borden Chemical and was a member of North Point Church. Gordon loved the game of ball. He enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals play. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family. Gordon had a heart of gold. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Phyllis (Money) Ballinger; children, Deanna (Otis Atwood) Ballinger, Joyce Colwell and Laura (Scott) Taylor; grandchildren, Tracie (Justin) Dye, Serena and Caleb Banks, Kirsti (Louie) Dean, Adam (Heidi) Janes, Collin, Noah, Seth and Rose Taylor; great grandchildren, Haylee, Brylee, Brantlee Dye, Kinsley Banks and Willow Dean; siblings, Marlene Wallace, Janice McGee, Lynn Hamblin, Vicki Brown, Teresa Riley, Danny (Patti) Ballinger, Laura (Allen) Jones, Mark (Sherry Ballinger and Nora Shepherd; several nieces and nephews. Gordon was also preceded in death by his siblings, Phyllis Kinsel, Sandra Hayes, Sarah Stout, Elaine Brooks and Luther Ballinger. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 5pm to 8pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral Ceremony will held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Lunsford officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
