Douglas Wayne Hawkins, Age 62 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. He was born on August 7, 1954 in Hamilton to Thomas Jefferson Hawkins and Helen Mary Tepker. Douglas attended George Washington High School, before enlisting in the United States Army. He married Doris Ash on November 6, 1981. She survives. Douglas worked as a jack of all trades for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on motorcycles, making jewelry, and collecting knives and guns. Douglas is survived by his wife, Doris, of 37 years; children Nina, Christy, and Eric; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Gary Bowman, Daniel Hawkins, Gregory Hawkins, and Roger Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer, brother Gerald Bowman, and his parents.
