Barbara Adeline (Stinger) Moore, age 79, of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. Barbara was born on October 25, 1932 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Bruce and Helene (Weaver) Stinger. She lived in Reily, Somerville (Camp Luella May) and Seven Mile growing up, and graduated from Seven Mile High School in 1950. Barbara married her husband, Arthur “Buddy” Moore, on August 23, 1952 in Seven Mile, and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends just last month. She attended Calvary Missionary Church in Hamilton and was an active member of Partners in Prime. Barbara enjoyed dancing, gardening and all kinds of embroidery work, some of which she would enter in the Butler County Fair. She is survived by her husband, Arthur “Buddy” Moore; daughters, Christina (G. Michael) McDulin and Melissa (Bruce) Baker; four grandchildren, Michael and William McDulin and Julie and Jennifer Garrett; two great-grandchildren, Madilyn and Aiden; brother, Charles Jacob Stinger; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sarah Ann Green; and son-in-law, Darrell Garrett. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10am at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton with Rev. Lawrence Uczen officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
