Alice Marie Stengel, age 76 of Liberty Township, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 28, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 12, 1947, the daughter of the late Roy Robert and Ruby Cecelia (Nation) Rutledge. Alice was a retired CNA and a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parrish. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Richard “Rich” Stengel; her daughters, Kathy Shupp, Jackie (Sam) Monti and Jennifer (Kent Smith) Stengel; grandchildren, Zachary, Logan and Mason Shupp, Jacob and Dominic Monti; siblings, Peggy Morris, David Rutledge and Dennis (Julie) Rutledge; sister-in-law, Marleen (Matt) Welborn; nieces and nephews. A gathering for family and friends for Alice will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 5720 Hamilton Mason Road, Liberty Township, Ohio 45011, followed by a mass of christian burial at 11:00 AM.
