Virginia Marie Wolfe

Mom was a retired schoolteacher who taught in NS and many places across Canada. She was a homemaker for her three children then worked as a school bus attendant until retiring. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and socializing with her very large circle of friends. She was a wonderful loving and caring lady who loved to dance and loved life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her ex-husband, Clark Wolfe; daughter, Juliana (Wolfe) Lund; sons, William Wolfe and Patrick Wolfe; sister, Charlotte; brother, Daniel; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Hughie MacLean, Bruce MacLean, William MacLean, Chester MacLean, and Reverend Gordon MacLean; sister, Margaret (MacLean) Griffiths.

Funeral service will be held on Monday January 9, 2023 at 12:15pm in Saint Benedict Church, 45 Radcliffe Drive, Halifax, NS. Father Charles Pottie Officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of the 4th floor at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home for the excellent care she received.
