Strachan, Valerie Lynn, 63, of Dartmouth, Passed away on September 21, 2023 in the Dartmouth General Hospital ICU.
Born in Halifax, Valerie was the daughter of the late Ronald and Dorothy (Goudreault) Strachan. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy (Doug) Flemming and Arlene (Ken) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandmothers, Vera (Powell) Strachan and Rene Goudreault, brothers Steven, Ron, Don and sisters, Faye and Pam.
The family would like to thank Dr. Yung, Dr. Landry, all the nursing staff, especially Tracey at Dartmouth General ICU for their compassion. Special thanks to Valerie’s special friends at the manors who made her days brighter.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 5th at 11am at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Private family burial immediately following the service.
