Theresa Marie Jilks

Theresa Marie (Rhodenizer) Jilks, age 83 of Halifax, NS (and formerly from Toronto) passed away on June 8, 2021 at her home. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Marjorie (Little) and Douglas Rhodenizer.

Theresa worked for State Farm Insurance for 33 years as an insurance underwriter. She also did a lot of fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenna (Weller); sons, Andrew and Neil; sister, Marjorie; grandchildren, Tracy, Tanya, Brittney, Kyle, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Ahmya, Axton, Logan, Riley, Levi, Benjamin, Cerian; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Rick, and countless friends. Predeceased by brother, Douglas Rhodenizer; sister, Cecilia; grandson Derek Thompson; great-grandson Tristan Jilks.

A private Funeral Liturgy (by invitation only) will take place on Thursday June 17, 2021 at 1:00 pm in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive with burial to follow in Gate of Heave Cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Canadian Cancer Society.
