Theresa Angela Brown

Born in St. Omer, Quebec and raised in Campbellton, NB, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mom worked several years at Camp Hill Veteran’s Hospital and Stadacona Hospital in dietary.

True to her Christian faith, mom used her time and talents in cooking and baking for her family and friends at any time, but especially when they were sick or couldn’t fend for themselves. She also loved to knit mittens and toques for Children’s Aide, St Vincent de Paul and the homeless. Mom loved to go dancing and playing cards with her many friends.

Mom is survived by daughter, Dorine Winters; son, Robert (Lori) LeBlanc; daughter, Mary Ann (Ken) Martin; son in law, Gene Sauer and daughter in law Judy Ashley-LeBlanc. Mom was recently predeceased by daughter Yvette Sauer Dec 3/14 and son Roger LeBlanc Jan 19/15. Also predeceased by precious granddaughter Janelle LeBlanc. Mom is also survived by her much loved grandchildren Ellesa, Brian, Shelley, Rhonda, Michael, Chris and David; great grandchildren Scott, Ashley, Dylan, Rebecca, Arabella, Allessandra and Cody; great great grandchildren Lillian, Charlotte, William Walker, Katie and Arianna.

Memorial Service will be held at Cruikshank's Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax on Monday, August 31 at 11:00 am. Burial to take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Sackville, NS. The family would like to thank Drs. Findlay, Spicer and David Kirkpatrick for all the years of looking after our mom’s health and well-being. Also, many thanks to the staff at Northwood Centre for her great care in the past few years.
