With broken hearts and profound sadness, we share the passing of Scott Boudreau (Age 54) who passed away on October 12/2024, at the Halifax infirmary with his family by his side, after battling a long courageous fight with Brain Cancer.
Scott was born and raised in Halifax, NS. He brought love, kindness, and strength to people he had in his life. He had a big heart that was always eager to help somebody. He never walked away without a hug, handshake or a peace sign.
He was predeceased by his father (William) Bill Boudreau. Survived by his mother Bernice Boudreau, his brother Trevor Boudreau. His daughter Lexie Boudreau and his granddaughter Mya, who were both his pride and joy. His nephew, nieces, aunts, uncles, extended family, along with so many wonderful friends. We will all miss him so dearly.
Scott was always a phone call away from having a listening ear, positive advice, sharing a good laugh and was always up for some never a dull moment fun. You could always count on him. In his earlier years Scott had a passion for boxing. He shares so many good memories of fishing and golfing with friends and family that will be in all our hearts forever. He enjoyed long drives listening to many of his favourite songs, while stopping to take pictures of the water in which his heart always took him. Along with beautiful skies and his love of nature and animals. His talent and love for art will carry on through his daughter and granddaughter.
There are no words large enough to describe how exceptionally special Scott was. It’s never goodbye, it’s until we meet again. In Scott’s words “Stay Awesome”
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the QEll Cancer Centre, in Scott’s name.
A service will be held at JA Snow Funeral Home, on October 24/2024, at 11:00am, in his honour, falling on the day of National Brain Cancer Awareness Day.
