Brunt, Sandra Gertrude, age 69 of Cowie Hill, Halifax, formerly of Williamswood, passed away peacefully July 31, 2013 at the QEII Health Science Centre. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Rhoda (Marriott) Brunt.
She is survived by brothers James (Gloria) Timberlea, David aka Butch (Sandra), Terrance Bay, Fred (Mary) Bridgewater, Melvin (Anne) Hammonds Plains, Ronald aka Dukie, Upper Stewiacke; sisters Ethel (Donnie) Nicholson and Isabel Horton, Upper Stewiacke, Margaret and Juanita Upper Stewiacke, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Lionel.
She worked at Dalhousie and lastly at Sears, Halifax. Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug 2, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS B3S 0E1. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, Aug 3 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Officiating Pastor Dennis Nickerson.
