Rosemary Amelia Penney

Rosemary was a loving person known for her kind, gentle and patient nature. A determined and hard-working woman, she excelled in her career, as a Systems Analyst and Project Manager. She was deeply committed to those whom she loved. Most of all, she was an outstanding mother, someone who demonstrated daily her commitment to her children.

Rosemary will be deeply missed by her daughter Christine (Andre), sons, Douglas (Cynthia) and Stephen (Michelle); her grandchildren, Adam, Courtland, Devon, Megan, Nathan, Brandon, McKenna, Evan, Leah and Ruby ,as well as her great-grandchildren Addison, Jaxon, Kobie, Thalia, and Aiyana. She leaves behind her brothers Cordell (Lillian), Wayne (Hertha), Robert (Pansy), Donald (Brenda) and Eric (David); her brothers-in-law, Hugh Miller, and Ian Penney; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins, and so many friends with whom she also had special bonds.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Derek, her parents Elmo and Mae Small, stepmother Stella, sister, Christine Miller, and brother, Paul Small.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rex Wheeler Memorial Hall, United Church, Summerford, NF on Saturday, November 4th from 1 - 3 pm.
