I had the pleasure of serving with Bob in the Navy.
Bob was truly a gentleman and a kind person.  His infectious 
smile could light up a room.  He was interested in many topics and it was a pleasure for me to share his acquaintance.
My heartfelt sympathy goes to his wife Betty and family.

I remember Bob well when we both worked at Dominion Stores on Qunpool Road in the late 40's.  I was a humble buggy boy and he was in a much senior position in the produce department.  We both served in the Navy and I believe we served together once in one of the ships.
