I found Renee was a very  good  Manager  she gave great guidance& and good development enjoyed working for Renee & other management on North St.

I remember the years I worked with Renee.   Not as long as many at MT & T . She was mostly a calming force and a very thoughtful person. I remember her many stories and those most fondly of her children , Martha and Matthew for certain and Rob.    She exhibited a great sense of humour and overall a class act. I am extending to her family my condolences, a huge loss to her husband and children/grandchildren

Rene was always easy to be around, so sensible and also always had a funny story to share. She will be greatly missed. May she now be at rest in all of God’s great Glory!

So saddened to hear of Renee's passing.  A great friend over the years we shared at MT&T, had lots of laughs while working together and later on as she became my Boss, we got a great laugh over that.  One of the best gals you could have in your corner.

My older sister Harriet and I were neighbours of the Hopkins family when we first moved from  Moncton to Halifax in 1950!
Renee was my first friend here.  We would encounter one another over the years once our family moved to several other locations settling in Rockingham,
Renee always had a smile. There was a fire in the new house we were renting and I remember hanging on to the the Hopkins fence with Renee and her mother watching the  firemen.
