The family announces the sudden death and unexpected passing of Phyllis on Feb 20, 2019 in the QE II Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Anne Turner (Kennedy). Phyllis was born December 27, 1928. She was educated in Halifax and was a full-time mom to her two sons. She is survived by her son, Tony; brother, Edward “Ted” (Adele); grandchildren, Kayla and Cory; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her spouse, Joseph; sisters, Lorraine and Rita; brother, Harry; and son, Bob.
Visitation will occur Tuesday, February 26 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home .Funeral will be held Wednesday, February 27 at 10 am, same location. Family flowers only please. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
