Paul Alexander Miller

Born in Glace Bay, NS. He was the cherished and loved son of the late Clarence “Butch” Miller and Myrna (Locke) Miller.

He graduated from Morrison Glace Bay High School, St. Fx University and Dalhousie University. He practiced dentistry for many years and was a member of the Dental Journal Club. Paul also worked closely with the Medical Examiner’s office at times.

As a child Paul developed a love for all types of music. He had an obsession for sports, especially baseball. These interests continued throughout his life as he cheered on his favorite teams (particularly the Blue Jays) and travelled all over to see his favorite bands. When he wasn’t on the go he spent his time learning to play the songs on his guitar. He also spent countless hours reading, from dawn to dusk. Throughout the years, he enjoyed various sports, including golf, skiing and curling. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his adored sons, with who he shared his hobbies, and his beloved cat, Ozzy.

Paul is survived by his two beloved sons, Jacob Miller (Taylor Hart) and Michael (Maddie Reeves); sister, Susan Miller MacConnell (Gary MacConnell); sister-in-law, Colleen Miller; Brother-in-law, David Wright; several nieces and nephews; and endeared friends.

Paul is predeceased by his parents; brother Glen Miller; and sister Sheila Wright.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Saturday Dec 9, 2023 from 1-4 pm in J A Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax with special remarks starting at 2:30pm

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA in Paul’s memory.
