Mavis Caroline Muirhead

Passed peacefully away at Halifax on August 6, 2013, Mavis Brown Muirhead born King's Cove, NL. Predeceased by her first husband Dennis Fitzgerald in 1965 and second husband Gordon Muirhead in 1999. Also predeceased by her father Kenneth M. Brown O.B.E and mother Violet Hollett Brown, her sisters Violet and Audrey and her brother Clyde. Leaving to mourn her sister Ethel Brown Lawton of St. John's and a large number of nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax on Wednesday, August 14 from 2 PM to 4 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 PM. No flowers by request. Donations in Mavis' memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Interment at a later date at the Anglican Cemetery, St. John's, NL.
